Andy's Christmas Songs
It's Christmas!
Marty, the champ and world number one
England, the poser from Wolverhampton
Rollerball Rocco, not one to forget
Roach, the big giant, ‘Auf Weidersehn Pet’
Yasu Fuji, Japan, (nothing rhymes with him yet!)
Catweazle, so funny, and game for a laugh
Hamill, Kung Fu, bare foot and fast
Roberts, another who liked martial arts
Ironfist, wrestled with skill and with heart
Sid Cooper, the face that was certainly worn
Tally Ho Kaye, comes blowing his horn
McManus with Logan, a good team they made
Angels, from Hell, Bobby and Ade
So thanks for the memories, a wonderful time
x it’s a kiss to make it all rhyme!
Kendo the Red Masked Wrestler
Kendo the red masked wrestler
Had a very stripy mask
And if you ever saw him
You would know that he was hard

None of the other wrestlers
Ever wanted to fight him
He even ko’d Daddy
Although his mask stayed in the ring

Then one foggy winter’s night
Blondie came to say
‘Will you partner me tonight?’
‘Cos like you, I love to fight’

Oh how the wrestler’s hate him
Throwing salt into their eyes
Then how it all went silly
When Kendo learned to hypnotize!

Last Christmas
(With thanks to Wham)
Last Evening
Sid Cooper beat Grey
And the very next day, so did Tally Ho Kaye
This year
Steve Grey has no fear
He’ll beat them because he’s special
Last evening
Les made me laugh
Catweazle came and he could be daft
Next time
When Les does his rope trick
We’ll realise it’s something special
Jones beaten, he’s the World Champ
Finlay smiling, Paula rules his camp
Tell me Rocco, do you want to fight me?
But don’t do a Tyson
I don’t want you to bite me
Last evening
Kendo clenched his fist and sent it
To the head of Haystacks and boy, he really meant it
But Stax was big and he wouldn’t go down
Kendo’s mask was torn
And George ran off in his gown
Last evening
Big Daddy in tag
Young Danny his partner, the opponents were bad
Next time
If Daddy gets beat
We’ll realise it’s something special
Last evening
Pallo and Son
Took on the Royal brothers, this could be fun
Next time
If Jackie is quiet
We’ll realise it’s something special
A crowded hall
Fans with tired eyes
They’re all booing Mick
Whatever he tries
Iron Fist with his chops and quick feet
Jimmy Breaks will cry if he thinks he’ll get beat
Street with a gown and a comb for his hair
Fans all boo Barnes but he just doesn’t care
Now I know it was all just a work
But they made it look real, even when they were hurt
Last evening
The final bell rang
So thanks for the memories to all of the gang
Those years
With laughter and tears
They really were something special
Thanks guys! Merry Christmas!
Driving Home from Wrestling
(To the tune of Driving Home for Christmas by Chris Rea)
Driving home from wrestling
Oh what a brilliant night we had
Driving home from wrestling yeah
Watching Kendo be so bad
Jim Breaks was there
Like a crying baby
And Cooper too
They’ll learn one day maybe
To try and wrestle clean
I’m driving home from wrestling
Going to take some time
But I’ll get there
Haystacks in the corner
Bigger than the Christmas tree
He ain’t afraid of no man yeah
Except our own Big D
So this song’s for you
Who made us happy
Whether watching live
Or on the TV
I’m driving home from wrestling
Driving home from wrestling
With a thousand memories
I take a look at the wrestlers in the ring
And admire them
Admire them
Bobby Barnes in purple
Kung Fu in bare feet
Driving home from wrestling yeah
Wondering how did Jones get beat?
So this songs for you
Our marvellous wrestlers
Both good and bad
Have a Merry Christmas
Driving in my car
Driving home from wrestling
With a thousand memories
I Wish it Could Be Christmas Every Day

Merry Christmas Everybody
Nagasaki's Coming To Town
(To the tune of Santa Claus is Coming to Town by The Crystals)
You better watch out, you better not cry
You can’t run away, I’m telling you why
Nagasaki’s coming to town
Nagasaki’s coming to town
Nagasaki’s coming to town
He’s making a fist, he’s checking the ref
He’s not looking now, so punch to the head
Nagasaki’s coming to town
Nagasaki’s coming to town
Nagasaki’s coming to town
He sees the opponent flagging, he moves in for the kill
He’s going to win this bout now, you just know he will
You better watch out, you better not cry
You can’t run away, I’m telling you why
Nagasaki’s coming to town
Nagasaki’s coming to town
Nagasaki’s coming to town
With Samurai sword and red stripy mask
George in his corner providing some class
Kendo won’t speak, he won’t say a thing
His skills do the talking when he steps in the ring
Nagasaki’s coming to town
Nagasaki’s coming to town
Nagasaki’s coming to town
Big D and Giant Haystacks, both failed to make their splash
You’ll know when it’s over, with the Kamikaze Crash
So, you better watch out, whether solo or tag
‘Cos Kendo’s in town and there’s salt in his bag
Nagasaki’s coming to town
Nagasaki’s coming to town
Nagasaki’s coming to town
